• Seagate Begins Vertical Construction on White Cap Warehouse

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Sept.29, 2021) — Seagate Development Group has completed the shell of White Cap Construction Supply’s steel fabrication building and begun vertical construction on the national building materials supplier’s warehouse. This is part of a 10-acre, 45,000-square-foot facility at 16542 Oriole Road – off Alico Road – in Fort Myers.

The steel fabrication building includes an 18,000-square-foot steel structure, an overhead crane and steel-bending machines. Meanwhile, the 32,990-square-foot warehouse is coupled with an open-area conference room, a break room, a showroom and office spaces. Crews are building these components as they conduct site utility work – which includes a lift station; water, sewer and fire lines; and drainage – as well as start on asphalt in the parking lot.

“White Cap is just as eager to access their design-build as we are to complete it,” said Matt Price, CEO & Partner at Seagate Development Group. “By the fourth quarter of 2021, they will be in a location always intended for region-wide industrial growth. The team will enjoy direct access to I-75 and plenty of space to do what they do best.”

PDS Architecture is the architect on White Cap, while Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.
