December 4, 2017: South Florida Architecture is pleased to announce their affiliation with the School of Resort & Hospitality Management in the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University. The Bonita Springs based architectural firm has been commissioned to design a 2-story wine vault and wine tasting room to be added to the lobby area at Sugden Hall on the FGCU campus. Funding for this project is pending donor support.

The addition of this state-of-the-art wine vault will accelerate Resort & Hospitality Management candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in the areas of procurement, inventory control, retailing and distributorship logistics.

“As the architect of record, our goal is to design a space that inspires students to further their career in this field,” states Director of Architecture, Jeff Scott. Adds Corporate Executives Greg Weber and Adnan Ahmedic, “The design process will be in two phases and the preliminary design work is now underway.”
