Lee Building Industry Association - LBIA, a not-for-profit organization representing Lee, Hendry and Glades counties, is a powerful voice for the building industry in the regulatory arena. Membership in the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders is automatic upon joining the Lee BIA. www.BIA.net
Florida Home Builders Association - FHBA serves its membership by promoting proactive involvement on state issues and legislation impacting the residential building industry, wetlands, affordable housing, workers’ compensation, etc. www.fhba.com
National Association of Home Builders - Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry and the public at large. NAHB’s various groups analyze policy issues, work toward improving the housing finance system, and analyze and forecast economic and consumer trends. www.nahb.org
The Lee BIA actively monitors and lobbies local and state governmental officials and legislation. Up-to-date information on all active topics is available to members through publications and on our website. An association that represents the voice of the industry to governing bodies on a variety of issues. Active lobbying for industry members at the local, state and national levels.

The National Association of Home Builders Spike Club
Spike Club members are the true champions of the Lee BIA. By recruiting, involving, and retaining members, Spikes strengthen and build both our association and the entire industry.
Spike credits are earned by recruiting and retaining members. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) recognizes and rewards your membership development efforts with its Spike Club awards program.
To achieve Spike status, you must earn six credits within two consecutive years. To retain Spike status and become a Life Spike, you must earn a minimum of one Spike credit (new or retention) each membership year until you reach a total of 25 credits.
