  • Lee BIA Public Policy Statement:

    The Lee BIA is the leading advocate for the building industry; representing builder and trade partners before the regulatory agencies in Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties. The Lee BIA was established in 1954 and continues to be at the forefront of issues that affect the business environment of the building industry. The Lee BIA continues to fight unnecessary fees and seeks ways to stop burdensome regulations. The Lee BIA is committed to passing laws and regulations that improve the bottom line of its members. We have a history of securing victories at the local, state and national level. The Lee BIA lowers the expenses and increases the revenues of building industry companies by letting lawmakers and regulators know the impact of their policies on the industry environment.

    Lee BIA Public Policy Mission Statement:

    Lee BIA’s mission is to fight unnecessary fees and seek ways to stop burdensome regulations on key housing issues such as removing regulatory barriers to building affordable housing, protecting property rights, providing tax relief for small businesses, promoting smart growth, and assuring the housing finance system remains strong.

  • The Lee BIA Political Committee Mission

    The Lee BIA Political Action Committee is a permanent committee of Continuous Existence established to further the goal of sound and stable economic growth and to promote the improvement of state government in Florida. Funds will be solicited by this committee and used to make campaign contributions to political candidates. These candidates will have demonstrated their commitment to the principals of the free enterprise system and more specifically Florida’s construction industry. The committee will actively encourage qualified and interested citizens to seek political office and become more involved in the governmental affairs of Florida. Contributions and encouragement will be made without regard to political party affiliation. This committee is an independent, autonomous entity not affiliated in any way with particular political parties or other organizations.
