"I have fished in many tournaments, but this one was a lot of fun for all involved and very professional. You could say it was a higher class tournament than most of the tournaments out there. They put a lot of time and effort into everything and it showed. Joann and her team, Caitlin, Maria and Michael at the BIA along with Rita and her team from the Tarpon Point Marina are the heroes of this event. Exceptional group of talented people! I hope they were able to meet all the goals of the funds that they were looking to raise. The next one should be even better...I'm looking forward to it."

At the captain's meeting, our anglers enjoyed dinner and drinks, provided by Hooters and Harpoon Harry's, along with some outstanding silent auction items and raffle prizes. That evening, an even larger than anticipated winning payout was announced! Thank you to our last-minute donors for making the pot even more enticing!
Tarpon Point Marina and the weather was perfect for an exciting weigh-in and tournament. Many anglers weighed-in their catch and had no problem showing off those beauties! |
